Rose Garden, Greenhouse & Swimming Pool Tour
This tour traverses the upper eastern portion of the property and takes visitors through the spectacular rose garden, the remaining frame of the Lord & Burnham greenhouse, discusses the ruins of the remarkable c. 1914 swimming pool building once known as Helen’s Bath and passes through the fern garden. This tour combines history of the estate and its residents with some discussion of trees and historic plantings. Departing from the Welcome Center, this requires the ability to walk over uneven hilly ground for at least one hour and is not recommended for those with mobility issues or children under 12.

Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this tour requires extensive walking on uneven hilly grounds for about 90 minutes outside and is not recommended for visitors with limited mobility or difficulty walking.
