Lyndhurst in Bloom is the weekend of April 5th & 6th, 2025. Floral designers transform Lyndhurst with luscious botanical displays that highlight and harmonize with the historic mansion’s opulent interior and landscape features. Visitors will experience a wonderland of color, and texture as they walk through the mansion’s three floors without a guided tour. This event is perfect for people of all ages and families as you can move at your own pace; it’s one of the best ways to explore the mansion, our grounds, and other buildings!
The weekend includes the elaborately decorated mansion and a Spring Market of over 30 vendors offering plants, flowers, gardens, and gift-related items. Right outside of the Mansion, at Rose Cottage, you will find fun experiences for the whole family! Sweet Squeeze Lemonade and Penny Lick Ice Cream will be serving up delicious treats, Little Sparrow Face Painting will be there, and Modern Marionette will be performing in that area from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm! Newly added to the Flower Show this year, the Bowling Alley will also be decorated with floral arrangements done by Hops Petunia, and Bloomy Cheese & Provisions will be there with small bite options and wine. A shuttle bus service will be operating throughout the property to help guests visit the different locations, including the Bowling Alley. There will also be a pop-up cafe by Geordanes of Irvington in the Welcome Center!
Your ticket includes admission to explore the decorated Historic Mansion and our Spring Market, located in the Welcome Center Courtyard tent. All ticket options are below!

10 am – 5 pm: Floral Displays in Mansion – last entry at 4 pm. The Market closes at 5 pm.
10 am – 5 pm: Spring Market in the Welcome Center Tent.
12 pm: Rockery Walk & Talk with Don Dembowski.
2 pm: Tree Walk & Talk with Arborist Justin Rawson.

Important Information, Please Read:
- The last entry into the Mansion is at 4 pm. If you buy a later ticket and want to go to the mansion and the market, come early to shop at the market and walk the grounds before your mansion entry time!
- Please be advised that this event requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs.
- A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and the special events/lectures/demonstrations do sell out.
- We have onsite tickets for sale! These tickets are first come, first served. Without a pre-purchased ticket, we cannot guarantee your entry time. Onsite tickets are subject to availability.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket.
- Check-in at the Welcome Center.
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- A Grounds Pass is not needed for this weekend.
- No large bags, backpacks, or strollers are allowed in the mansion.

Membership discounts are only valid for Classic Mansion Tours, July through mid-September.
Mansion entry for these weekends is timed admission. There will be no guided tours of the mansion

Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand and climb stairs.
The event traverses three floors of the mansion and only the first floor of the mansion is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
Plan Your Trip
Please check-in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and get refreshments. No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to your timed entry.
