Most of the events are held inside, but come prepared to make short walks in between buildings in the rain. The Flower Show itself takes place in the mansion, the Spring Market takes place in the tent at the Welcome Center, and there will be a several shuttles running on the property to take people to and from the parking lot, and down to the Bowling Alley where other vendors will be stationed. You will not need to be outside for very long.
Lyndhurst Flower House is the weekend of April 18th & 19th, 2026. Floral designers transform Lyndhurst with luscious botanical displays that highlight and harmonize with the historic mansion’s opulent interior and landscape features. Visitors will experience a wonderland of color, and texture as they walk through the mansion’s three floors without a guided tour. This event is perfect for people of all ages and families as you can move at your own pace; it’s one of the best ways to explore the mansion, our grounds, and other buildings!
The weekend includes the elaborately decorated mansion and a Spring Market of over 30 vendors. The Bowling Alley, down by the Hudson River, will have family-friendly activities and food vendors. A shuttle bus service will be operating throughout the property to help guests visit the different locations, including the Bowling Alley. There will also be a pop-up cafe by Geordanes of Irvington in the Welcome Center!
Your ticket includes admission to explore the decorated Historic Mansion and our Spring Market, located in the Welcome Center Courtyard tent.

- The last entry into the Mansion is at 4 pm. If you buy a later ticket and want to go to the mansion and the market, come early to shop at the market and walk the grounds before your mansion entry time!
- Please be advised that this event requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket.
- Check-in at the Welcome Center.
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- A Grounds Pass is not needed for this weekend.
- No large bags, backpacks, or strollers are allowed in the mansion.
- To best accommodate groups, including special needs, please contact us in advance to make reservations at 914-303-6844.

Mansion entry for this weekend is timed admission. There will be no guided tours of the mansion.
Accessibility
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand and climb stairs.
The event traverses three floors of the mansion and only the first floor of the mansion is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
Plan Your Trip
Please check-in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and get refreshments.
Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to your timed entry.
