Come to Lyndhurst and experience the glitter and the glamour of the Holiday Season during our NEW event, Lyndhurst Illuminated!
The Holiday Season truly is “the most wonderful time of the year” to visit Lyndhurst! Take an intimate evening tour of the mansion’s first floor and kitchens illuminated by the glow of dozens of Christmas trees, see special collection items brought out from storage, and learn how pagan customs and 19th century immigrants shaped our modern American holiday traditions. Spirited guides lead guests through an extravagant wonderland of holiday splendor and explain how and when many of our most cherished Christmas traditions became established.
Start a new tradition and spend part of your holiday at Lyndhurst. Immerse yourself in festive yuletide décor and make memories to last a lifetime!
MANSION ENTRY begins promptly at the designated time. Please arrive 20 minutes before the entry time printed on your ticket to have time to park, check in at the Welcome Center, and use the facilities.
The Lyndhurst Gift Shop will be open for Holiday shopping!
Appropriate for children aged 10 and older, no children under age 2 will be admitted.
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Discounts are available to eligible visitors. Membership discounts are valid for Classic Mansion Tours only, July through September 26th.

Plan your Visit
Please check in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst Mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and restrooms. No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 20 minutes prior to your timed entry.
Accessiblity
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand for approximately one hour and climb stairs.
The event traverses two floors of the mansion and only the first floor is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
