The Holiday Season truly is “the most wonderful time of the year” to visit Lyndhurst! Take an evening stroll through the mansion’s first and second floors illuminated by the glow of dozens of Christmas trees, and see special collection items brought out from storage. Each room of the house represents a different historical era of Holiday décor. Guides will be located in each room to answer any questions you may have, but this is a self-guided, self-paced nighttime stroll through the mansion to view the holiday splendor.
Start a new tradition and spend part of your holiday at Lyndhurst. Immerse yourself in festive yuletide décor and make memories to last a lifetime! There will be plenty of photo opportunities as photography is welcome!
The Lyndhurst Gift Shop will be open for Holiday shopping and Geordanes of Irvington will be on site with a selection of treats and hot beverages.
Last entry time into the mansion is 7:30pm.
Important Information, Please Read:
- Please be advised that this event may require long periods of standing and flights of stairs.
- While photography is welcome, please no flash photography or video.
- Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
- Check-in at the Welcome Center.
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket.
- No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.

Discounts are available to eligible visitors. Membership discounts are valid for Classic Mansion Tours only, July through September 26th.

Plan your Visit
Please check in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst Mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and restrooms. No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 20 minutes prior to your timed entry.
Accessiblity
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand for approximately one hour and climb stairs.
The event traverses two floors of the mansion and only the first floor is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
