Dark Shadows was a popular gothic/supernatural soap opera that ran on TV through the mid-1960s and into the 70s. Two feature-length films, based on the TV series (House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows), were filmed at Lyndhurst in the late 1960s, where the mansion stood in for the famous house from the show ‘Collinwood’. Every year we celebrate Lyndhurst’s role in this cult classic, beloved by generations of horror fans.

This year’s Dark Shadows events take place on Halloween October 31st, and will be an all-day costume party with three different ways to experience Lyndhurst as Collinwood – including a Meet & Greet with Kathryn Leigh Scott and other Dark Shadows stars.
