Blending classic traditions with festive trends, the mansion features dozens of Christmas trees expertly decorated to complement the elegant period furnishings within our historic rooms.
Beyond the mansion, join us for our Holiday Makers Market to discover a curated selection of local artisans and their handcrafted treasures. Our Carriage House and courtyard heated tent will overflow with unique offerings, including handmade jewelry, artisanal food and drinks, unique home decor, and specialty skincare. It’s the perfect opportunity to check off your holiday shopping list or pick up a little something for yourself!
Food & Refreshments:
- Festive snacks and beverages will be available for purchase all weekend.
- Geordanes of Irvington will be on-site serving a delicious selection of lunch options.
- Don’t forget to stop by the Lyndhurst Museum Store, which is fully stocked with exclusive holiday treasures.
⚠️ Important Planning Note: The last entry into the Mansion is strictly at 3:30 PM. Please plan your arrival accordingly to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy both the house and the market.

- Please be advised that this self-guided tour requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs.
- A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out.
- Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
- All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket.
- No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.

Plan Your Trip & Accessiblity
Please check-in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and restrooms. No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to your timed entry.
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand for approximately one hour and climb stairs.
The event traverses two floors of the mansion and only the first floor is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
