A Dark Shadows Meet & Greet 2025
Saturday and Sunday July 19th and 20th, 2025
$40 per person+service fees.
Come to Lyndhurst for our 2025 Dark Shadows Weekend! On July 19th and July 20th, we welcome Kathryn Leigh Scott, author, and actress, best known for playing “Maggie Evans” and “Josette DuPres”, in the original Gothic television series Dark Shadows, and House of Dark Shadows (1970). We also expect to have a special guest attending!
Ticket holders will arrive at Lyndhurst and check in at our carriage house welcome center for the event. Kathryn Leigh Scott will be ready to take photos with you, sign books, and answer your questions in two daytime sessions: The Morning Session is 10 am to 12 pm and the Afternoon Session is 1 pm to 3 pm. Books and other items will be available to purchase on-site with the event and in our Welcome Center Gift Shop. These tickets include entry into the mansion. They also include access to the grounds.
Spend the day here at Lyndhurst before and after attending the Meet and Greet! Wander the grounds on your own, or attend one of the Dark Shadows Walking Tours run by the Dark Shad Bros: Peter and Doctor John, separate tickets are required for this tour. You’ll also be able to wander around the first floor, second floor and tower of the mansion, and have the opportunity for a photo op on a Victorian Sofa that appeared in Dark Shadows. Don’t forget to buy your tickets for Champagne at Collinwood! There will also be a pop-up cafe on site run by Geordanes of Irvington.

Please be advised that the tour of the house requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs.
A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out.
Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket.
No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.

Schedule
This event takes place from 10 am to 12 pm for the morning session and 1 pm to 3 pm for the afternoon session. Please arrive 15 minutes before your ticket time.
The ticket includes entry to the event, entry into the mansion, and access to the Lyndhurst Grounds.

Plan Your Trip
The event takes place at the Welcome Center Tent, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst mansion. Ticket holders will check-in inside the Welcome Center. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to your event time.
Accessibility
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to be standing for periods of time. Our Welcome Center is ADA-accessible and has restroom facilities.
