Upcoming Special Events
Looking for ways to grow your support of Lyndhurst? Our annual parties and galas are a great way to get involved, enjoy yourself, and contribute to our restoration efforts. Join our mailing list to receive more information on upcoming charitable events at Lyndhurst.
Each year, Lyndhurst opens the mansion for member parties and offers exclusive events, behind the scenes receptions, off-site tours and trips, exhibition preview parties and our annual gala. There are many ways to support Lyndhurst and enjoy the benefits we offer.
Lyndhurst’s annual gala would have been held at the end of May and is an important source of funds for operations, programs, and restoration. For those who would like to continue their support of our efforts, we will offer two alternative gala events after Labor Day.
Thursday October 8, 2020, we’ll offer a virtual update on Lyndhurst’s current efforts to restore its landscape and add new programs as well as give a preview of our newly stabilized swimming pool building. We’ll also offer a sneak preview of a major contemporary art installation in the pool building.
For those who would like to join us in person, we will offer a safe, socially distanced event at Lyndhurst Thursday, September 24, 2020. This will include entry into the re-opened swimming pool building to preview the new art installation as well as a talk and box dinner on the bowling alley lawn. This event is limited to 25 people and will adhere to all State-mandated protocols.
If you do not wish to attend either event but would still like to maintain your annual support of Lyndhurst, you can also donate to our gala fundraiser. In light of our Tropical Storm Isaias damage and our ongoing efforts to restore our landscape, these funds are critical to our ongoing success.
