Classic Tours with a Halloween Twist

On the mansion tour with a Halloween twist, you will see the majestic vestibule and entrance hall, reception room, parlor, library, cabinet room, Jay Gould’s private office, and the sumptuous Victorian dining room – all decorated with seasonal trimmings for Halloween. The second-floor centers around the Grand Picture Gallery hung with its original and varied collection of European paintings. The second floor of the mansion is not decorated and visitors can see Lyndhurst’s main rooms in all their traditional splendor.

Futurescape Sculpture Exhibit

The popular Scarecrow Invasion leaps into the future with a completely new way to see experience the fall landscape! This year, local sculptor Malcolm MacDougall III fills the roadway with futuristic metal sculptures. The eerie sculptures are a beautiful setting for daytime leaf-peeping, or a mysterious nighttime experience backdropped by the kids’ scarecrows. Jay Ghoul’s House of Curiosities

This year’s all-new edition of Jay Ghoul’s House of Curiosities is based on classic mystery stories. It’s 1922, and a group of archeologists has unearthed an Ancient Egyptian tomb – but they barely have time to celebrate their discovery before the diggers each start dropping dead! Your group has arrived at the dig site (Lyndhurst mansion) to help determine the cause of the deaths – is it the Pharaoh’s curse or a cold-blooded killer?
