Dark Shadows Walking Tour

You’ve seen the mansion and the movies, but have you seen all the hidden areas of our estate where Dark Shadows was filmed? Join us for a special tour this Halloween!

The Dark Shadows Walking Tour of the property will explore the grounds for about an hour and visit some of the iconic exterior locations from both Dark Shadows films shot here at Lyndhurst. This tour will take place outdoors on uneven ground and involves a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. As this tour takes place outdoors, come prepared for the weather. In the event of inclement weather, the tour will occur in the Welcome Center as a media presentation/lecture instead.

Important Information, Please Read:

• Please be advised that this tour requires long periods of standing and walking. 
• A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 
• Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
• Check-in at the Welcome Center.
• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
• A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket. 
• Not recommended for children under 8 years of age.
