On Saturday, August 22, join The EcoTones Ensemble for The EcoTones; Flora & Fauna Percussion Jam in the historic grounds of Lyndhurst.

The ensemble will perform a live concert repertoire of joyful, rhythmic music inspired by the flora and fauna of Lyndhurst’s landscape; a stylistic ecotone between classical chamber music and jazz improvisation.

The Flora & Fauna Percussion Jam features percussion instruments from around the world made from natural materials, and audience members are invited to play percussion alongside the EcoTones Ensemble during this 60-minute family-friendly concert.

The concert will begin at 4pm in the landscape behind the mansion.The performers will be located near the Rockeries overlooking the Hudson River. Please bring your own blankets and chairs to set up on the lawn to watch the concert.

Jimmy’s Soft Serve will be on site to provide cold refreshment during the performance.

The rain date for this event is Sunday, August 23rd.

  • A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 
  • Check-in at the Front Gate upon arrival and park in the parking lot below the Welcome Center. The concert will take place adjacent to this parking lot. 
  • All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
  • A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have an Event Ticket. 
  • This event is ADA accessible.
  • This event ticket does not include access to the mansion.
