Trick-or-Treat Weekend
Saturday & Sunday, October 17 & 18
$5-$30 plus fees
On October 17th and 18th, join us for a special family-friendly weekend of trick-or-treating at Lyndhurst!
This year, children’s trick-or-treating will take place on the grounds of our historic estate, nestled amongst the spooky trees and winding pathways. Wear your Halloween costume and bring your treat bag, and stop for candy at the designated spots along our map.
Geordanes will be on-site selling sandwiches & snacks for hungry trick or treaters and their families.

You do not need to purchase a “Trick-or-Treat” ticket if you have purchased a “Grounds and Mansion” ticket.
If you would like to explore inside the mansion as well as the grounds, ‘Roam on Your Own’ weekend is one of the only times you can explore the mansion at your own pace – perfect for families with children who are not interested in a hour-long guided tour. Timed entry allows guests time to enjoy the Halloween and autumnal decorations throughout the house while also giving visitors time to appreciate the beauty of our historic home and take plenty of photos – but still allowing you to leave before the kids get bored!
This is not a guided tour, however, Lyndhurst Tour guides will be stationed throughout the house to answer questions.
Last entry into the mansion will be at 3PM on October 17th and 4PM on October 18th.
Museums for All:
Tickets for entry into the mansion are $5 each for you and your family with your EBT card! This discounted admission is for up to 4 people per EBT card. Reserve your ticket online with the EBT/SNAP ticket designation. You MUST present your EBT card at the Welcome Center when you check in. If you cannot present your card, you will be required to pay in full for the event.
