Spend a beautiful afternoon enjoying a traditional tea experience at our Gothic Revival Style mansion overlooking the Hudson River! Step into the charmingly appointed carriage house and experience this favored and treasured event as British high society did in the early 19th century and was later adopted in many regions of the world. This all-encompassing, two and a half hour long tea service has a little bit of everything. It includes a tour of the mansion, tea and sweets or luncheon, and your choice of accompanying informative entertainment. You can customize this experience to fit your needs!
Intended as an engaging and social occasion, the Rose Afternoon Tea will be presented by Bridget Bray, creator of boutique experiences. She will share the origins, traditions, and etiquette of the long-favored British afternoon tea service and include several tea blends from her Puddings and Biscakes tea line, now available in the Lyndhurst Mansion store.
