Lyndhurst welcomes visitors to explore on their own, the wonders of this gilded age mansion during the festive Autumn season. Timed entry allows guests to take in seasonal and spirited decorations on their own while strolling through this breathtaking historic home.
You will see the majestic vestibule and entrance hall, reception room, parlor, library, sumptuous Victorian dining room, and art gallery – decorated with autumnal trimmings for the season!
Lyndhurst Tour guides will be stationed throughout the house to answer questions.
Timed entry tickets are available between 10 am – 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Also, on October 19th, join us for our Victorian Gothic Tea and solve a Victorian Gothic mystery over tea, treats, and sweets! Prepurchase tickets to participate in this fun and lively Tea Experience!
Victorian Gothic Tea and MysteryAll visitors must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter the Mansion. A limited number of tickets are available for entry; tickets do sell out. Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed.
Entry begins promptly at the designated time. Please arrive 20 minutes before the entry time printed on your ticket to have time to park and check-in at the Welcome Center.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
You do not need to purchase a Grounds Pass if you have purchased a Mansion Ticket!

Plan Your Visit
Please check in at the Welcome Center, the brick complex located just past Lyndhurst Mansion, where visitors can visit the gift shop and restrooms. No large bags or backpacks will be permitted in the mansion. Plan to arrive at the Welcome Center 20 minutes prior to your timed entry.
Accessibility
Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this event requires the ability to stand for approximately one hour and climb stairs.
The event traverses two floors of the mansion and only the first floor is handicap accessible.
There is no elevator in this historic building.
