A Day of Dark Shadows with Kathryn and Company

Come to Lyndhurst for our 2026 Dark Shadows Halloween! On October 31st, we welcome Kathryn Leigh Scott, author, and actress, best known for playing “Maggie Evans” and “Josette DuPres”, in the original Gothic television series Dark Shadows, and House of Dark Shadows (1970).  Other surprise guests will be attending!

Ticket holders will be able to explore the property, roam through the house, enjoy food and music in the landscape, mix and mingle with Kathryn Lee Scott and others, and pop into the Carriage Room in the Welcome Center to watch House of Dark Shadows playing throughout the day. Walking Tours will also be available with a separate ticket.  This event will include a costume contest, so dress in your Dark Shadows best! Books and other items will be available to purchase on-site with the event and in our Welcome Center Gift Shop. These tickets include entry into the mansion. The last entry into the mansion will be at 4pm, plan accordingly! They also include access to the grounds.

Important Information, Please Read:

• Please be advised that the tour of the house requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs. 
• The last entry into the mansion is at 4pm!
• A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 
• Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.
• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
• A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket. 
• No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.
