Rose Day

The roses are in bloom, and you’re invited for a special day of garden-centric events in our historic garden!

Explore our Rose Garden at peak bloom and enjoy a beautiful June day in the historic Lyndhurst landscape. Your Rose Day ticket will include a harpist playing music from 12 pm to 2 pm, viewing plein-air painters scattered throughout the landscape, and a rare peek into our Rose Cottage, home to a children’s playhouse built in the early 20th century. For those who want to bring the day home, make sure to check out locally grown bouquets from Seed on Hudson or indulge in ice cream from Jimmy’s!

This event is rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of rain, many of the activities may be moved to a different location.

Important Information, Please Read:

• Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
• Mansion ticket holders are not required to purchase a Grounds Pass.
• Not permitted: Tents, lawn furniture, open flame, BBQs, smoking/vaping, and alcohol. Special Event photography and drone use are strictly prohibited.
• Please leash your dogs while on the grounds.
• Picnicking is allowed; please carry out what you carry in.
• Entry to the grounds is at your own risk; the property owner is not liable for injuries or illnesses that occur while visiting.
• This ticket does not include access to the mansion.
