BECOMING TIFFANY: FROM HUDSON VALLEY PAINTER TO GILDED AGE TASTEMAKER
Lyndhurst opens a major exhibition of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany exploring his origins as a painter in Irvington, NY, his emergence in the Hudson Valley community, his focus on important cultural movements, and his influence as a premiere tastemaker of the Gilded Age.
The exhibition features beautiful pieces from the Lyndhurst collection as well as sumptuous works loaned by major museums and rarely seen objects from private collections.
Admission is included in all tour tickets, June 1 through September 24.
